Several years ago, Mrs. Claus came up with this event to help shake things up a little bit within the cafeteria and to have some fun with the worker elves. Basically, you bring in your favorite lunch and exchange it with someone else within the workshop.
On Thursday, Mrs. Claus' Kitchen will be sponsoring the annual brown bag lunch exchange in the cafeteria. Wondering what to put in your brown bag lunch? Please be sure to pack your favorite sandwich, a side of fruit, a side of vegetables, and a bag of your favorite chips inside a brown lunch bag. (If you do not have brown lunch bags or sandwich bags, you can pick some up at the cafeteria on Wednesday). Inside the bag, put your name of a piece of paper as well.
When you arrive to work, for the start of your shift, please bring your bagged lunch to the cafeteria. All lunches will be refrigerated until lunch time. When you come down for lunch, you will be given a brown bag from someone else for your lunch.
Beverages and dessert will be provided by the cafeteria.
After lunch is over, if you would like to send a little note to the person who packed your lunch for the exchange (a request for a recipe, expressions of delight etc.), this is highly encouraged and a note drop off box will be provided within the cafeteria. The post office will take the notes and distribute them on Friday morning.
