Peel, core, slice pears.
Crush pears in food processor.
Combine crushed pears and water.
Place on stove and slowly heat until a simmer.
Press through collinear, and then through a fine sieve.
For each cup of liquid produced, add 3/4 cup of sugar, and the juice of 1/2 a lemon.
Bring back to a simmering temperature.
Pour into jars within 1/2 inch from the top, seal and save for your favorite recipes.
